Anna-Maria Vlassi-Galerou is a publisher of a second generation of the publishing house Vlassis Bros. The company has been in the field of publishing since 1964. In the book market its name is mostly associated with the publication of greek classic authors. One of its main contributions to the greek bibliography is the publication of Gregorios Xenopoulos’ enormous literary production reaching 80 novels, 8 volumes including 25 plays and 30 children books.
During the last years, Anna-Maria’s love for books and children motivated her to create educational literary programs for students at schools. Through her programs she tries to transmit her love for reading books and make children understand the reasons why reading is such an important issue for human beings.
Anna Papadakis is the owner of the Gallery-Art Space “A.Papadakis”.
She is a graduate of the Greek-French school “St Joseph”.
She has studied Sociology at the “Deree College” of Athens and had her Master Degree on “Μuseum & Gallery Management” in London.
She speaks fluently English, French and Italian.
She has been interested in the health and quality of life issues of children and adolescents.
She is a collaborator of the Non-Government, Non-Profit Organization “For Adolescent Health (FAH)” (www.youth-life.gr) from the founding, until now.
